Hanoi’s CPI rises 0.75 percent in March
Hanoi’s consumer price index (CPI) rose slightly by 0.75 percent in
March as compared to February, according to the city’s Statistics
The 18th session of the 13th Hanoi Municipal People’s Council closed on July 17 with the adoption of five solutions to advance socio-economic development in the second half of this year.
The capital city of Hanoi will strive to achieve a GDP growth rate of between 7.5-8 percent in the six remaining months of 2009 to raise its yearly GDP rate to 5.5-6 percent.
In the first half of this year, Hanoi’s gross domestic product (GDP) saw an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the Hanoi Statistics Department.
